Amanda came to Active Living Physio in 2016 and has over 20 years of administrative experience in various settings, including several minor sports associations as well as newspaper and multi-media companies, all in the Campbell River area. Her career began at the Campbell River Mirror, building skill-sets in administration and graphic design. Amanda spent 10 years volunteering with Campbell River Minor Baseball, where she served as Registrar for seven seasons, further sharpening her administrative and web design skills. She also spent 8 years with the Campbell River Judo Club, volunteering her time during competitions and helping organize several fundraisers.
Amanda is passionate about excellent customer service; she enjoys making connections with clients, and strives to work beyond clients’ expectations for a truly personal experience. She is proud to be part of the Active Living team, where these values are held in high regard and are part of every aspect of patient care.
A born-and-raised Vancouver Islander, Amanda moved to Campbell River at the age of 10. She grew up exploring the beaches and trails of Campbell River and enjoys the many outdoor adventures the area has to offer. Multiple summers spent travelling and adventuring throughout the United States solidified her love of her hometown and desire to raise her family here. In her personal time, she can be found running the numerous trail systems in the Campbell River area, walking and running the Seawalk, hiking the trails of Elk Falls or Strathcona provincial parks, or camping with her family along the shores of Lower Campbell Lake.
